The BIG Sing Community Choir needs you, the local group wants you to become more involved with their local Essex community.
All members of The BIG Sing Community Choir are people from the local community who have a desire to sing. Being a part of the choir gives everyone the opportunity to be taught by experienced tutors and participate in unique performances. for example, The BIG Sing have performed alongside some ‘BIG’ names already, including Ellie Goulding, Leah McFall (from BBC’s The Voice), London Community Gospel Choir and Leona Lewis.
The BIG Sing gospel choir were also on TV as winners of BBC Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year Competition in 2017 and have been asked to sing for ITV’s X-Factor.
The choirs have been growing from strength to strength in number and ability and have now set up their own charity. Now choir members can help make a difference and take what they’ve experienced to people who can’t come to The BIG Sing themselves. This charity is called ‘The BIG Sing SOUL” with SOUL standing for ‘Singing, Outreach, Unity and Love’.
The BIG Sing would like to welcome new members, they are open to everyone – you don’t have to have a fantastic singing voice – just enthusiasm. With no auditions and a relaxed atmosphere, your readers are sure to benefit from this fun environment!
