Basildon Council’s Improving Lives Award – public nominations open!

0

Residents have the opportunity to nominate a council staff member or team who they feel has gone that extra mile to deliver great customer service to the local community – a person or team who you feel has really made a difference!

The council’s Improving Lives Award is reserved solely for public nominations.

A nominee could be someone who helps make your life better by dealing with your queries in a prompt and professional manner. It could be a parks officer who ensures the grass and trees in your community are well maintained or a housing officer who has helped make the process of applying for housing less stressful.

Scott Logan, Managing Director of Basildon Council, said: “We value the brilliant work our staff do on a daily basis and the staff awards are a way of recognising their commitment and hard work for the community.

“I encourage our residents to use this opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate our staff through the Improving Lives Award. This is made possible with the support of residents, local press and businesses.”

Nominations are now open and must be received by 5pm on Friday, 23 March.

You can either email the Communications Team at [email protected] or drop in your nomination at the reception at the Basildon Centre, in St Martin’s Square.

For more details you can email the team or call on 01268 208198.
