Sing For Ya Noodles: Free Udon Is Up For Grabs at Marugame Udon

‘Tis the season to be jolly, and Marugame Udon is embracing the festive cheer to give guests the opportunity to win a bumper udon prize. As partygoers flock to celebrate the holidays, Marugame Udon is turning up the volume with a Christmas karaoke contest that will have diners singing all the way to the udon kitchen.

A good time in Japan is often associated with a night at a karaoke bar. And belting Christmas tunes is now part and parcel of the festive season in the UK. So this year Marugame Udon invites guests to unleash their inner divas by singing a rendition of their favourite Christmas songs. Whether it’s a heartwarming chorus of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ or a nostalgic rendition of ‘Last Christmas,’ the mic is up for grabs, and the stage is set for Marugame diners to showcase their vocal talents.

Anyone brave enough to take the stage and belt out a festive tune will receive a free portion of Brussels sprout tempura and will be entered into a draw to win free udon for a year! Can’t make it into a restaurant? Tag @marugameuk in an Instagram or TikTok post singing a Christmas song for a chance to win too! Entries in-store and on social media will be accepted from 28th November to 24th December for all guests signed up to the Marugame Club.

Diners will also be able to feast upon Marugame’s Christmas menu, featuring freshly made Festive Udon, available as a meat or vegan option with sliced marinated chicken thigh or with roast pumpkin. The limited-edition Christmas special is made with a rich soup base, stuffing balls, pickled red cabbage, Brussels sprout leaves and cranberry. Marugame Udon has also brought back its Brussels Sprout Tempura and stuffing balls tempura for the holiday season.
