BizzFest has launched a new podcast series celebrating the entrepreneurs, founders and purpose-led leaders shaping businesses across Essex and beyond.
The BizzFest Podcast will feature honest and practical conversations with people who have built businesses, created impact and taken bold steps to turn ideas into reality.
Launching ahead of BizzFest 2026, the series has been created to give listeners access to real stories, useful insight and inspiration from guests who understand the opportunities and challenges of growing an organisation.
The first guest is Ben Gould, founder of Under the Canvas, who shares his journey of building a business from the ground up. His episode explores the power of vision, taking risks, overcoming setbacks and what it really takes to create something people believe in.
Also featured in the launch series is Toby Freeman, head of The Robin Cancer Trust, BizzFest’s charity partner. Toby discusses the incredible story behind one of the UK’s leading cancer awareness charities, including resilience, purpose-driven leadership, breaking stigmas and how authentic leadership can inspire communities, build organisations and create real impact.
Completing the first set of guests is Isaac Crowson, director of IC Media and one of BizzFest 2025’s pitchers at the Paddle Investors event. Isaac’s episode looks at how one conversation can change the course of a business, the opportunities that come from putting yourself in the right rooms and why building meaningful relationships can fuel success.
Andy Coleman, co-founder of BizzFest and host of the podcast, said: “The BizzFest Podcast is about opening up the conversations that so often sit behind successful businesses and organisations. We want listeners to hear the real stories, not just the polished outcomes, because that is where so much of the value is.
“Ben, Toby and Isaac each bring something different to the series, from starting a business with a clear vision, to leading with purpose and creating opportunities through connection.
“These are the kinds of honest, inspiring and practical conversations that reflect what BizzFest is all about. We hope the podcast gives entrepreneurs and business leaders fresh ideas, confidence and motivation as they continue to build and grow.”
The new podcast series forms part of the wider BizzFest mission to bring together practical learning, entrepreneurial inspiration and meaningful connections in an accessible and engaging way.
BizzFest 2026 takes place on the 17th of September 2026 at Cressing Temple Barns, near Braintree in Essex, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders and professionals for a festival-style day of keynote talks, expert panels, workshops, wellbeing experiences, live entertainment and networking.
