Festival Leisure Park’s Halloween fun in Basildon a spooky success

0

Festival Leisure Park’s annual Halloween event returned to Basildon on Wednesday 31st October.

Hundreds of young horrors joined in the frightening family fun, and had the chance to meet and pose for photos with their favourite characters including Mickey and Minnie, Snow White, Hello Kitty, Scooby Doo and Shrek. Visitors could also get into character with Festival’s free facepainting, to make sure they looked spook-tacular! A spooky treasure hunt ran across Festival Leisure Park, where children and their families could follow the clues and pick up sweet treats along the way.

A whole host of weird and wonderful creatures also joined in with the fang-tastic fun, with children getting up close to Basildon’s very own creepy crawlies.

The ghoulish fun didn’t stop there! Free arts and witchcrafts were available throughout the entire park, with children able to colour in monster themed bat and balls, creating their very own monster headband, colouring in an individual Rubik’s cube and decorating a spooky glow-in-the-dark lantern.

Children aged 3 to 11 were also able to sign up to the Festival Friends Kids Club, where they received their merchandise packs on the day as well as a membership card which will entitle them to offers and exclusive news around the park, and received a special gift!
