Firstsite is delighted to announce the launch of a special prize draw to join Grayson Perry at the Firstsite Fundraising Gala Dinner taking place at the gallery next week on Wednesday 6 December.
Firstsite is offering two tickets to members of the public: all you have to do to enter is go onto the gallery’s website (http://www.firstsite.uk) and sign up for the newsletter before midnight on Sunday (3 December). The lucky winner will be announced on Monday.
The evening includes a canapé and champagne reception, a two-course meal, speech by Grayson and an auction. Proceeds of the dinner will go towards the creative and educational programmes at Firstsite.
Grayson’s show at Firstsite has proved a runaway success. More than 6000 people have visited already, and a talk by the Turner Prize-winning artist that was meant to be held at the gallery on the day of the dinner has now had to be moved to a larger venue, Moot Hall, due to high demand.
