Host The Week is a brand new comedy show, in which each week we invite a celebrity guest star to BBC Elstree Studios, the home of ‘Eastenders’ and now home to ours star’s very own production… if only for one night!
Filmed as live in front of a studio audience, they will lead celebrity guests through a spectacular production, all designed completely for and around them.
The celebrity guest host will star in a series of topical comedy sketches; assuming a number of different roles across the show and they’ll have no idea what is going to happen from one moment to the next.
With costume changes at each turn, in one instant they could be a co-anchor in our News show and in the next, a contestant on a baking show, or even giving a speech to the Prime Minister in the Houses of Parliament.
The show will record at BBC Elstree and the first guest will be Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt.
