Essex Teaching Awards 2017 celebrate the counties finest teaching talent

It can be said that some teachers don’t get enough credit. They spend hours and hours each week preparing classes, marking work and educating their students. Some travel miles for the perfect role and some are able to work in barnet jobs in schools that are on their front door step. Either way, an awards ceremony shows just how appreciative we are of our teachers and how their work can inspire many. The annual Essex Teaching Awards, which are in their fourth year, took place at Marconi Social Club in Chelmsford last week.
The Essex County Council-run event celebrates excellence in education and highlights the outstanding work of teachers and other staff in the county’s schools.

“We have some excellent teachers and staff working in the county’s schools and I was delighted to hear about the difference this year’s Essex Teaching Awards winners have made to the lives of young people.
“I am very proud of their achievements and these awards are a great way of acknowledging their hard work and commitment.
