Back by popular demand, the nation’s favourite comedy duo, Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness, are hosting a Halloween-themed ‘Moviefest’ event, in association with Showcase Cinemas, and promise a night of spook-tacular fun alongside a screening of 80s horror comedy classic The Lost Boys.

Following the hugely successful launch of the duo’s first-ever live Moviefest event in August 2019, the British comedy duo are set to return on October 18th for a Halloween special hosted at the stunning Victorian Theatre at Alexandra Palace in London… the perfect setting for a night celebrating classic Halloween cinema!

MovieFest sees Keith and Paddy pay homage to their favourite films with a brilliant fusion of live comedy sketches inspired by the chosen movie and the era, alongside a screening of the film on a giant screen. The event finishes with a post-screening 80s inspired DJ set hosted by Keith and Paddy, where the duo play their favourite tunes from the decade all with a suitable Halloween twist. MovieFest is the ultimate Halloween treat for any fans of The Lost Boys, classic horror and the 80s in general, and with the presence of Keith and Paddy audiences are guaranteed a hilarious night out!

MovieFest was launched in summer 2019, with Keith and Paddy performing to a sold-out live audience at Tatton Park in Cheshire, followed by a traditional outdoor cinema screening of the 80s musical classic Dirty Dancing.

MovieFest is delivered in association with Showcase Cinemas. Showcase and Showcase Cinema de Lux are owned and operated by National Amusements, Inc., a world leader in the motion picture exhibition industry operating more than 932 screens in the US, UK, Brazil and Argentina. National Amusements delivers a superior entertainment experience under its Showcase, Showcase Cinema de Lux, Multiplex and UCI brands.

This is the latest production from The Luna Cinema, outdoor experience specialists who are currently producing FriendsFest and FriendsFestive, and previously partnered with ITV to present the immersive Love Island The Experience. As well as its open air cinema season, which consists of over 175 screenings in over 65 outdoor locations in the UK, The Luna Cinema also produces Luna Beach Cinema with a giant screen taking residence over the summer on Brighton Beach, and Luna Kids Cinema, an outdoor cinema experience designed specially for younger film fans.
