The North Essex Economic Board (NEEB) is giving local businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services at one of the region’s largest business events by offering 20 free exhibition stands at the North Essex Expo on September 10th, 2026.
Taking place at Charter Hall, Colchester, the North Essex Expo attracts hundreds of business owners, entrepreneurs and decision-makers each year, creating an ideal environment for networking, lead generation and collaboration. The event features more than 100 exhibitors and provides businesses of all sizes with the opportunity to increase their visibility and make valuable new connections.
The free exhibition stands will be allocated through a free prize draw, giving businesses across North Essex the chance to participate without the usual cost of exhibiting.
Councillor Ivan Henderson, Chair of NEEB, said: “We ran a similar competition last year and know from the businesses who won just what a useful experience it was for them; to meet potential new trade customers, build their networks and develop connections to help further grow their business.
“So why not enter your business this year for a chance to win a stall?”
The initiative forms part of NEEB’s ongoing commitment to supporting business growth across the region by removing barriers to participation and helping local enterprises reach new customers and markets. Supporting businesses is a core priority for the partnership, which works across North Essex to encourage economic growth and prosperity.
Businesses based within the eligible North Essex districts of Braintree, Maldon, Tendring and Uttlesford and the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester are encouraged to submit their application before the closing date of 14th August 2026.
