Following the success of last summer’s inaugural event, The Osea View Café is bringing back its much-loved Seafood Festival for 2026. Taking place at the start of Osea Leisure Park’s annual programme of summer music weekends, the festival promises a fantastic celebration of fresh seafood, live music and coastal relaxation.
Taking place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd August, the festival will transform the waterfront café into a vibrant celebration of fresh seafood, live music and summer by the sea, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Blackwater Estuary.
Visitors can once again enjoy the festival’s popular seafood menu, featuring favourites including oysters from The Maldon Oyster Company, BBQ lobster salads, mussels and chips, flame-grilled tiger prawns and more, all freshly prepared and served just metres from the water’s edge.
Whether you’re a seafood lover, music fan or simply looking for a great day out beside the sea, the Osea View Café Seafood Festival offers something for everyone.
Janie Robinson, owner of The Osea View Café, said:
“Last year’s festival exceeded all our expectations and the feedback was incredible. We’re delighted to bring the Seafood Festival back and to kick off another season of our popular summer music weekends. With fantastic seafood, live music and one of the most beautiful coastal settings in Essex, we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors for a wonderful summer weekend by the sea.”
Alongside the special seafood menu, the café’s full menu will also be available throughout the weekend, together with a range of local drinks.
Located on the sea wall near Osea Leisure Park, The Osea View Café enjoys panoramic views across the Blackwater Estuary and has become one of Essex’s favourite destinations for breakfast, lunch, coffee and coastal relaxation.
No tickets are required and no booking is necessary – simply turn up, find a seat and enjoy a weekend of seafood, music and unforgettable views.
