Today, multiplatinum-selling chart-topping Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix releases his new EP ORIGO via STMPD RCRDS – listen here & here. The EP features seven previously released singles and a new focus track with Saksham, “Ain’t Letting You Down.”
Boasting an incredible line-up of collaborators, including Citadelle, AFROJACK, David Guetta, & Amel, R3HAB & Skytech, Arcando, Armin van Buuren, Alesso, Matisse & Sadko and more these songs are heavy club-driven projects built around the most requested IDs from Martin’s sets over the years. “I feel the same from the beginning,” ORIGO marks the end of the club-focused projects and gives a tribute to the roots Martin started with.
On the release of the EP, Garrix shares “‘ORIGO’ is finally out!! After releasing ‘Sentio’ and ‘IDEM,’ this EP rounds up the Garrix club and festival music for a while. I’ve been playing all of these unreleased tracks — which are now singles — in my sets for a long time, and they’ve been highly anticipated by all of you for years.
My career began with club music, ever since ‘Animals’ came out 12 years ago. Over the years, I’ve released many different styles, but I’ve always tried to stay true to my roots. This EP reflects upon that journey — it’s the missing piece that connects everything and takes fans to where it all began – the origin. And I’m forever grateful for you guys and to dive into this new chapter together. +x”
Garrix’s EP release comes during his exciting run of shows at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater. He initially announced two nights and at the last minute added the third show due to high demand.
