The Three Little Birds Nurseries Group is flying high after expanding its flock with the recent acquisition of the London Preschool Group. The acquisition increases the number of Three Little Birds’ sites to 10.

The London Preschool Group has more than 40 years of experience establishing nurseries tailored to the individual needs, talents, abilities and interests of each child. The four sites that have been acquired by the Three Little Birds Nurseries Group specialise in music, performance and visual arts.

Led by cousins James and Ed Morris, Three Little Birds aims to be the leading small to midsize nursery care provider in London and the South East.

James Morris, Joint CEO at Three Little Birds, said: “I’m delighted to welcome The London Preschool Group to the Three Little Birds family. We now have a total of 10 nurseries across London, and the four newly acquired nurseries offer incredible facilities to add to our roster. It’s great to see how these bespoke, child-centred nursery settings help the children to develop.”

Ed Morris, Joint CEO at Three Little Birds, added: “The Three Little Birds mantra is fundamentally based around happiness, wellbeing, education and knowledge. It’s a privilege to build nurseries where our team’s family values form the foundation for successful and nurturing childcare.”

The Three Little Birds was founded in memory of three family members who passed away in quick succession; James’ father, Paul, Uncle Nick and Grandad Terry. James said: “Ed and I both feel that they are looking down over us and guiding us.”

The Three Little Birds logo reflects the Group’s ethos; the wise owl represents education and knowledge in a changing world, the toucan, with its personality, reflects the development of personal and social needs and the canary is a bird of happiness and fun in a nurturing environment.

Supporting co-CEOs James and Ed, are Charlotte Gould, Libby Williams and Laura Millward, who each have many years’ experience working in childcare settings.
