Fairfields Farm Branches Out into Fruit & Veg Boxes

With demand for doorstep deliveries continuing to rise, Fairfields Farm has rolled out its new fruit and veg boxes nationwide.

When lockdown began, Fairfields Farm commenced a free delivery of its potatoes and crisps, which has been hugely popular. Working with other suppliers, it rolled out its fruit and veg for local customers, but due to high demand, it is now offering them to households across the country.

“We’re finding that people don’t want to go to the supermarkets to do their shopping at the moment and, for those shielding or self-isolating, our fruit and veg boxes have become a lifeline,” explains Laura Strathern, co-founder of Fairfields Farm. “With demand so high we’re now offering free delivery to all UK postcodes.”

For just £18, each fruit and veg box contains 750g Baby Potatoes 750g. 2 x large washed baking potatoes, onions, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumber, apples, oranges, lettuce cos, spring onions, red or yellow pepper. Customers can also order a fruit and veg box and a box of Fairfields Farm crisps for just £30. The boxes aim to support as many British farmers as possible.

“The pandemic has made people rethink how they shop and it’s been fantastic to be able to develop these boxes and support more British farms,” continues Laura. “We hope they are a popular choice for customers from far and wide.”
