Roberts is looking for the brightest budding home bread bakers in Essex to star in its new #ShareYourBakes national TV campaign, which premieres this evening at on ITV.
An exciting extravaganza of real people having fun making bread, it’s a celebration of the nation’s newfound love of home baking – and its meditative and fun qualities – that’s put food on tables, brightened days and helped ease anxiety and uncertainty for so many during these challenging times.
So, if you or anyone in your family fancies a moment or two in the limelight, Roberts bakery wants to see your most delightful domestic doughy creations – whether they’re totally brilliant, brilliantly bonkers and everything in between. This really is the perfect opportunity for anyone and everyone to shine.
It follows last week’s launch of its home baking kit – a delicious dough-making bundle, made from the bakery’s own top-notch flour – that’s available to buy online and delivered to the door. No flour nor yeast is no longer a problem to scupper your small screen dreams!
The best budding bakers to upload images or film of themselves in action will be selected to appear in a very special ad, made up of the best, brightest and funniest posts, which will air in a special second burst of national TV advertising on Friday 5th June.
So, what are you waiting for? Show your skills off to masses by making some tremendously tasty rolls, perform how to make the perfect thin and crispy pizza base for the people, or upload how you baked your little bit wonky, but ever-so-tasty, Bloomer for the world to see. The choice is yours!
You’ll be joining the likes of celebrities such as Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha, Stephen Fry and TV presenter Holly Willoughby who have also recently posted pictures of their freshly baked bread to their social media.
Roberts’ #ShareYourBakes advert will premiere on Monday 18th May during the ad break of Harry’s Heroes: Euro Having a Laugh on ITV. You can also view it on Roberts’ YouTube channel.
Auditions are now live to take part in the next one. All you have to do is upload your videos or images using #ShareYourBakes to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tag @robertsbakeryuk in the post, or, reply to the comments on the competition post with their footage. The deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday 31st May.
