State of the art fitness concept FORTIS, powered by Speedflex is a HIIT-based workout class backed by singer, actress and fitness-aficionado Alexandra Burke. It launches today across the UK.

FORTIS studios will offer the renowned Speedflex concept which delivers HIIT Without the Hurt. It’s an affordable, accessible and inclusive workout, where everyone from athletes to new exercisers can work-out to their maximum, in exactly the same class.

Self-confessed HIIT fan and Speedflex ambassador, Alexandra Burke, is supporting the new studios to showcase the power of HIIT workouts that are fun, effective and safe for all.

“Whether I’m going about my daily life, performing eight theatre shows a week or spending long hours in the recording studio, I know being fit and healthy is crucial for my body and an optimistic mind. My family sadly has a history of diabetes but through research I’ve found that consistent exercise can have a positive impact in reducing or even reversing the symptoms and problem altogether. I’m a huge fan of the Speedflex method because of the results it gives me and so I’m supporting Speedflex and Everyone Active’s goal to create a fun workout programme for everyone in a beautiful environment. I’m living proof that this 30-minute HIIT workout will leave you feeling good without the normal aches and pains of the gym. Sign up for your free class today!”

FORTIS is a 30-minute HIIT workout based around Speedflex’s unique personalised resistance concept, allowing every participant to train at their optimum level. The studios also include functional movement stations for unlimited variety of workouts. The workout is combined with MYZONE to provide members with live heart rate data and feedback on their effort level.

The boutique fitness studios will launch in three locations across the UK with seven more planned to open in 2020, all within Everyone Active Leisure Centres. The collaboration, which offers boutique fitness at unrivalled affordable prices will open boutique fitness up to a whole new market.

The initial three studios will be located at Marshall Street Leisure Centre in Central London, Westgate Leisure Centre, Chichester and Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre in Hertfordshire.
