Niall from Love Island shares he has Asperger’s Syndrome

It was recently announced Niall Aslam from Love Island has a diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome and articles are flying all over social media. Robbie Williams has also announced today that he feels there is a possibility he may have a diagnosis Aspergers Syndrome too.

ITV explained that Niall who is from Birmingham, who was coupled up with fellow islander Georgia Steel, quit the show for “personal reasons”.

Anna Kennedy OBE Autism Ambassador shares that she was pleased to see many of the autism community and the public immediately rallied behind Niall’s social media post, praising him for and sending their support.

Anna states “My son Patrick was diagnosed at age 4 with Asperger’s Syndrome and I am pleased to share he is starting a new full time job on Monday.”

“We as a charity have Patrons and Ambassadors who are great role Models for the autism community and give hope to families just starting out on their journey.”

She added “It is time we stop judging those around us for being different, and we need to start embracing all the differences among us. Wouldnt it be a boring world if everyone was just the same.”

“I would like to wish Niall ‘rainbowfish’ (as he calls himself ) all the best and  enjoy your life!”
