Craig Lawson appeared on the last series of Love Island, I caught up with him to discuss future plans!
CRAIG, YOU ARE FRESH OFF LOVE ISLAND – HOW WAS THAT EXPERIENCE FOR YOU?
CL: It was a life chaining experience I enjoyed my time in the villa as well as meeting all of the fantatic characters in there. It would have been great to stay in the longer- saying that, I really missed my three boys.
IS YOUR PERSONAL TRAINING MORE OR LESS YOUR CAREER PATH FOR THE FUTURE?
Yes 100%. Further down the line, I would love to own my boxing gym.
I’ve boxed for many years as I throughly enjoy the sport.
I have been confirmed this week to be boxing in the charity boxing event
“Boxing With The Stars” being organised by Jake Wood and Spencer Oliver on 13 October. I’m already training every day for this and am so looking forward to fighting again.
YOU HAVE RECENTLY SIGNED UP FOR CELEB FC, HOW DO SUCH CHARITABLE INITIATIVES FIT IN WITH YOUR FUTURE PLANS?
I’m looking forward to playing with Celeb FC as they have a great team and organised well by the Manager, Karin Flower. It is nice to donate some of my spare time to a great cause of raising money for charities. I enjoy helping others and is something that I teach my boys.
WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE IN ESSEX?
I have two actually. For dinner, I would definitely say Chigwell as I like to go to Sheesh and for nightlife, would have to be Hornchurch as I am always going to Luna Lounge.
WHATS ON THE CARDS NOW FOR THE REST OF 2017?
Spending more quality time with my boys is a definite including my family. I am soon to be bringing out my own swimwear range and building up my personal training business.
