Fashions Finest takes pride in its reputation for uncovering new talent from all over the world.

Case in point – enter AKAME; a young brand by student Admir Kapich. Kapich is currently completing his master study in fashion design at Esmod Berlin.

He wanted his brand to grow and evolve with him during his studies. While researching different styles and aesthetics, he found that attention to details, research, drawing, and nature, presents a significant part in his work. AKAME is thus dedicated to art and culture.

Admir would like to take his brand to the road where he can merge art and craft of today with a vision of future. He dreams to find new aesthetic, a silhouette- one that belongs only to AKAME.

Another element that Admir wants to embrace is Sustainability. Since nature is fundamental to him, taking care of materials and production is very important.

Fashion in his eyes is there always to embrace change and improvement. Therefore sustainable approach is essential in his design process. We caught up with Admir ahead of London Fashion Week.

Q. Where does your inspiration come from?
Usually, it comes from my visions and dreams, which later on I connect with culture, nature, movies, history or songs. Somehow I always try to vision silhouettes walking around me and then I go and draw them.

Q.How did you get into fashion design?
I think somehow I always knew that making clothes is my future. Even as a kid I would spend hours almost every day drawing princesses in different clothes.

Q. What drives you?
The thought that with my work I could make someone feel happy, beautiful and loved.

Q. How has your personal life influenced your career?
I think everything I did as a designer had to do something with who I am as a person. With me, it is connected, my happiness, strength or determination gives me power and ideas to continue designing.

Q. What was your greatest success in the past few years?
Probably the fact that I evolved my style in the way I wanted. That finally I can say that I am on the right way. At least for now.

Q. Do you have a Muse you wish you could see wearing your designs?
Yes. Jennifer Lawrence.

Q. What are your plans for the future?
I intend to work on my brand, style and creative approach to sustainable fashion.
