Jack Goodacre on Celebs Go Dating: Meet The King of banter Stephen Bear!

0

The No1 midweek trending topic this week every night has been #CelebsGoDating and it’s easy to see why!

It’s really well scripted and the Celebrities are great TV.

You have Joey Essex from Essex well he isn’t 100% about being from Essex but we all know he is from Essex! Everyone always says is Joey Essex really that thick… I’m really not sure myself if I’m honest!

Joey’s date was Sammi from Hampshire who was pretty to look at but like a lot of Girls who are easy on the eye, they tend to have no banter and have the most bland personality!

You could tell from the start that spark just wasn’t there and all Joey was thinking about was does she bang!!!

The gorgeous Jorgie Porter aka Theresa McQueen from Hollyoaks went on a date with James who looked like a big rugby player! In fairness he seemed ok but looks wise he is definitely a 5/10 Jorgie picked James to go on another date! James is definitely Jason Puncheon!

Finally from last nights episode it’s the funny, cool and King of banter Stephen Bear!

Bear had me in stitches from the start, he was buzzing to get a “Hot Date” with Dakota from Liverpool! Well no one saw that Bear was about to get CatFished ha!

When Bear arrived at his date and Dakota turned up he was very disappointed indeed but he ended up paying her compliments and didn’t have to balls to say you don’t look like your profile picture! Instead Bear after 6 minutes said he needed to go to the toilet and took his coat with him!

Bear wrote a excuse on a napkin saying something about some chicken…

I have to admit I did feel for Bear when Nadia & Eden called him up to have a go at the lad! Saying he was unprofessional and having a go at him for doing a runner from his date Dakota.

I would of said hang on Agent’s it’s me who is pissed off you just CatFished me in front of millions of tv viewers!

It’s also funny how so many Girls and Lads actually have the job “Model” in their Bio on Twitter and Instagram when in fact they are unemployed or have only modelled something when in Topshop in the fitting rooms taking selfies!

I have to admit really enjoying this series of Celebs Go Dating, Lime Pictures have done well with the Celebrity cast!

I hope you enjoyed my column for Essex Magazine, I want to dedicate this column to my fellow colleague and friend Mr Gary Raymond who sadly passed away recently, Gary loved being a TV Critic amongst his many talents. RIP Gary Raymond
