The Colchester Castle Summer Series returns for 2026 with a huge line-up of world-class artists, bringing seven nights of live music to the historic setting of Lower Castle Park this August.
Now in its second year, the Colchester Castle Summer Series has quickly established itself as a standout open-air music event, blending chart-topping pop, iconic rock, dance legends and alternative favourites in one of England’s most scenic and culturally rich locations. Set against the backdrop of Colchester Castle, the series promises unforgettable summer evenings in the heart of the town.
Thursday 20 August – Billy Ocean
Support: Marti Pellow
Global music icon Billy Ocean brings his unmistakable voice and catalogue of timeless hits including Red Light Spells Danger, Caribbean Queen and Get Outta My Dreams. Supporting is Marti Pellow, frontman of Wet Wet Wet, whose soulful vocals and string of classic singles make this a night of pure nostalgia and world-class songwriting.
Friday 21 August – The Hollywood Vampires
Support: The Damned
Supergroup Hollywood Vampires, featuring Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Johnny Depp, deliver a hard-hitting rock spectacle packed with energy, theatrics and classic influences. Punk legends The Damned join as special guests, bringing their fierce legacy and explosive live presence to the Castle stage.
Saturday 22 August – Becky Hill

One of the UK’s most in-demand dance music vocalists, Becky Hill headlines with a set full of chart-topping anthems including Remember, Lose Control and Heaven on My Mind. Support acts will be announced soon.
Sunday 23 August – Bastille
Support: Arthur Hill, Orla Gartland & Alfie Templeton
Multi-platinum band Bastille are set to bring their signature blend of soaring melodies, emotional lyricism and festival-ready anthems. Known for hits such as Pompeii, Good Grief and Happier, Bastille promises a euphoric night at Lower Castle Park.
