A whopping three individual winners from Essex have won £2,067,507 collectively over three months on The National Lottery, with two winners sweeping the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker Raffle on Friday 31 October 2025.

A third winner has won £67,507 by matching five numbers and the bonus ball on the Tuesday 23 December 2025 draw.

Plans range from new cars, home improvements, and family holidays to starting a business. One £1M winner, a retired male from Thurrock, said: “I never thought it would be me, but you have to be in it to win it!”

Another, a father of five from Chelmsford, said: “I didn’t know what to do with myself the week I won… now I’m coming to terms with it, and thinking of all the holidays we can have. I still can’t fully believe it!”

The third winner, a father of two from near Grays, said: “I am very happy, and still in total shock! I have always been confident I would win one day, and I would like to use the money to start my own business.”

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, congratulated the Essex-based prize winners, saying, “Three winners from Essex in such a short period of time is very exciting… it must be a lucky place! Congratulations to all our winners, and we wish them all the best with their future plans.”

Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk. They can also buy and check tickets in retail. Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you’re a winner.

Playing any National Lottery game is more than just a chance to win; it’s a way to contribute to something much bigger. Each week, players help generate around £32M for National Lottery-funded projects. With over £52BN raised for Good Causes since launch, this funds hundreds of projects in every postcode area across the UK. From supporting the arts and sport sectors, to empowering local community groups and preserving iconic British landmarks, players’ participation makes a difference every single day.
