Recently, musical lovers in Chelmsford enjoyed a performance of Robin Hood the Musical, produced and performed by students at The Boswells School in Chelmsford, Essex. The production is part of the school’s ongoing work to enhance extracurricular opportunities for its students, and the £2,000 raised through the ticket sales will be used to support the school’s Performing and Creative Arts Faculty.
Stephen Mansell, Headteacher of The Boswells School, said, “At The Boswells School, we pride ourselves on encouraging our students to participate in a wide range of extracurricular endeavours. From sporting fixtures to the creative arts, our extracurricular provisions are essential for our students, not just to foster valuable teamwork and leadership skills but to inspire confidence and creativity. These activities also provide an opportunity for students to connect with their peers in other year groups and classes, forging friendships across our school community. We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding production of Robin Hood; the production is a true testimony to months of hard work and dedication – congratulations to them all.”
