Billericay is getting ready to sparkle as Your Billericay’s Late Night Light Up event arrives this Thursday 27th November, from 5pm to 9pm throughout Billericay High Street and Radford Way.

In just a few days, the town will come alive with twinkling lights, festive cheer and plenty of community spirit as residents and visitors gather to kick off the Christmas season in true Billericay style.

This much-loved event celebrates everything that makes Billericay special – its people, its independent shops and its thriving local businesses. As shop windows shimmer with Christmas magic, the High Street will transform into a winter wonderland of late-night shopping, live entertainment and joyful festive fun.

Expect exclusive in-store offers, seasonal treats, giveaways and plenty of inspiration for unique Christmas gifts.

The streets will be filled with live performances, festive music and walkabout entertainment to create that unmistakable Christmas buzz. Whether you’re hunting for the perfect present, meeting friends for a winter warmer or soaking up the lights, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

There’s also a Candy Cane Trail – anyone wanting to take part can pick up a free trail sheet from the Your Billericay gazebo (outside the Red Lion) on the night and search for hidden candy cane posters in shop windows. After finding them all and completing the trail, there’s a candy cane treat to collect from the Your Billericay team! It’s a magical way to explore local stores, enjoy the lights and add a sprinkle of festive adventure to your evening.

Nikki Machin, BID Manager for Your Billericay, said:

Whether you’re looking for unique gifts, meeting friends for a mulled wine or simply enjoying the lights, Thursday’s event is sure to leave you feeling very festive!”
