Alex Cooper, an Essex-based dog trainer and Head Trainer at K9 Generation, has become the first British handler ever to win the RSV World Championship in Schutzhund dog sport – one of Europe’s most demanding working-dog competitions, achieving an exceptional 293 out of 300 points.
It’s a historic achievement for the UK and a proud moment for our local community. Alex runs a successful training business serving Essex and London, helping dog owners build better communication and behaviour with their pets through structured, reward-based methods.
His winning dog, Banzai, has an equally unique story. Once dropped from film work for being “too difficult,” he’s now a world champion thanks to Alex’s patience and training expertise.
