The British Business Excellence Awards (BBEA) has announced its highly anticipated list of finalists for 2025. Recognised as the UK’s leading celebration of business success, the awards honour the most ambitious, forward-thinking and high-performing companies in the country.
The 2025 shortlist spans sectors from AI and customer loyalty, to family business and international export, showcasing the extraordinary talent shaping Britain’s commercial future. The full list includes businesses of all sizes and celebrates those driving innovation, sustainability and economic growth.
“The calibre of entries this year has been simply exceptional,” said Sarah Austin, Founder and Director of the British Business Excellence Awards. “Every finalist should be incredibly proud of their achievement. The awards are a true celebration of British brilliance, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone to the ceremony.”
The judging panel brings together some of the UK’s most respected names from media, finance and business. Senior leaders from the BBC, Sky News, International Business Times and Advertising Week help ensure the highest standards of fairness and insight during the judging process.
A spokesperson for Lloyds, headline sponsor of the awards, added:

“At Lloyds, we’re proud to champion British businesses. These awards showcase the resilience, innovation and determination that define the UK’s entrepreneurial spirit.”
Rapid Energy is a finalist in two categories and the CMO & Co Owner Sami Kasap, said, “We’re absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for two categories at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2025.
Rapid Energy exists to keep critical services running with rapid, reliable temperature control solutions, and this recognition reflects the incredible growth and momentum our team has achieved in a short space of time. It’s a proud moment for all of us and a testament to the hard work, innovation and commitment that drives our business forward.”
Charlotte Staerck is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Handbag Clinic and is also a finalist in the Female Funder category and she commented,
“It is so empowering to be a finalist alongside an impressive group of women for the Female Founder award. These awards are one of the most prestigious awards in the UK and builds so much further credibility for my business, which is built on trust and authenticity. The visibility it gives the brand could also help further cement circular shopping in today’s fast paced society and personally after over 10 years of giving it my all it feels amazing to be recognised in this way. “
