Taylor Wimpey encouraged pupils to discover the joy of reading, by donating £250 towards the
World Book Day celebrations at The Cathedral Primary School.

Taylor Wimpey is currently building new homes in Chelmsford, at the Aspyre development. The
donation to the school helped them to buy book vouchers for their World Book Day competitions, as well as expand their book collection for their creative curriculum.

Mrs Lorna Quinn, Deputy Head at The Cathedral Primary School, said: “We are truly grateful to
Taylor Wimpey for their generous donation in support of World Book Day. This generous
contribution not only enriched the school’s resources but also directly supported the pupil’s
educational journey in reading and creativity.”

Michael O’Leary, Regional Operations and Sales Director at Taylor Wimpey London said: “We are delighted to see the impact of our donation on The Cathedral Primary School’s World Book Day celebration.

“Books serve as invaluable tools for shaping the minds of our pupils. These resources will not only instil a sense of responsibility and foster creativity but will empower our pupils to work towards a more sustainable future for generations to come.
