A Taylor Wimpey director visited his old college in Colchester during National Apprenticeship Week to give students an insight into careers in the construction industry.
Dean Wingfield, Production Director for Taylor Wimpey London, returned to Colchester Institute on 8th February 2024 to share with the students his invaluable knowledge and expertise gained from years of experience in the construction sector.
The presentation covered a wide range of topics aimed at empowering the next generation of
construction professionals. Students had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of various topics such as women in construction, career paths, toolbox talks, health and safety culture and risk assessments.
Taylor Wimpey is building new homes across Essex, including at Hartford Green in Great Bentley. The development includes a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom new homes with a range of sustainable technologies such as solar panels along with the infrastructure for electric vehicle charging on, or close to, each home.
