The Mercury Theatre in Colchester are excited to announce and welcome their latest Premier-level Partners for 2023: McCarthy Stone. The partnership is the third for the Mercury this year at this, the highest, level of support.
The Mercury Theatre’s corporate partnership scheme allows companies to receive complimentary tickets, exclusive invites and marketing opportunities whilst helping the theatre, a charitable organisation, continue its exciting and vital work on and off stage.
Award winning McCarthy Stone will also benefit from the theatre’s corporate partnership scheme. They will receive complimentary theatre tickets and experiences for their staff and clients, whilst championing a placemaking organisation to highlight the area as a great place to live for prospective residents.
Steve Mannix, Mercury Theatre Executive Director, said:
McCarthy Stone champion the motto ‘a life well lived’ and the Mercury promote this too. We produce shows and offer engagement activities for all ages and believe you can try or experience something new whatever your age and ability. We cannot wait to welcome McCarthy Stone residents into the Mercury and look forward to the partnership developing further.

A spokesperson from McCarthy Stone, said:
We’re proud to be a brand-new partner of Mercury Theatre, a staple in the community. As the UK’s leading developer and manager of retirement communities, we provide high quality homes to exacting specifications. As of September 2023, McCarthy Stone manage over 500 retirement developments across the UK and our retirement properties are home to more than 22,000 people. Our local development Lancer House, situated in Colchester, boasts 53 beautiful one and two bedroom apartments. A McCarthy Stone property offers more than a stylish home to feel proud of. It gives you access to a vibrant, lively community of neighbours and friends.

The partnerships, which are annual commitments from both organisations, are the prime example of how charity and business can work together to increase their presence across the community. The Mercury has a number of options for corporate support and urge businesses looking to increase their reach and community support to get in touch.
