DASH Water bring accidental celebrities back ‘Into the Limelight’ to mark launch of new flavour.

The makers of deliciously wonky fruit-infused sparkling water, DASH has today announced the launch of a quirky new video series, ‘DASH into the Limelight’, which sees ordinary people who accidentally rose to fame brought back to the forefront to mark the launch of the brand’s latest flavour – Lime.

In line with DASH’s mission to champion the wonky and the extraordinary, the video series sees DASH partner with viral YouTubers, Archie Manners, and Josh Pieters aka ‘Josh & Archie’ to interview people who unexpectedly became internet sensations. While maintaining a light-hearted tone, the interviews capture the affect that notoriety had on their lives, for better and worse, as well as the juicy stories behind some of the biggest viral moments which in some cases have never been told before.

The trailer teases videos with interview clips of IT consultant Guy Goma, who was mistaken for a technology journalist and interviewed by the BBC live on air, internet rap sensation ‘Alex from Glasto’, Kevin the iconic ‘Whisk Guy’ from Come Dine With Me, the women behind ‘the’ viral colour-changing dress, as well as Professor Robert Kelly whose children crashed his Zoom interview with the BBC, many of whom despite their fame have never been interviewed before.

The five-part series will be launched in bi-weekly episodes, with the first episode: Kev the iconic ‘Whisk Guy’ from Come Dine With Me, dropping on Wednesday 31st May on DASH’s website, YouTube channel and Instagram.

As well as recapping what put them in the limelight, the video series will see Josh and Archie delve deep into the reaction of guests’ friends and family, whether they have found fortune as well as fame, what they are up to now and whether they have any regrets or things they would do differently.
