Sixteen-year-old Pop Princess Rosie McClelland, who found fame with her cousin Sophia Grace on The Ellen Show, is excited that her new single, HURT SO GOOD, is making waves on TikTok – a week before the release of the video.

The catchy tune, along with its dance steps, is already being copied by popular influencers including Piper Rockelle, on the popular social media channel, where clips of the song and dance have already notched up over 2 million views.

Nikki Minaj, the original inspiration for Sophia Grace and Rosie’s remarkable 11-year entertainment career and appearances The Ellen Show, is also a follower and supporter of Rosie’s work. It was the cousin’s rendition of Super Base on YouTube that went viral and led to the first invitation to appear on Ellen’s show where they met the mega star for the first time!

HURT SO GOOD has been co-written by Rosie, Lauren Dyson and Alawn, who also produced the track. Alawn is the Super Producer behind K-POP sensations BTS – now recognised as the most successful boy band of all time.

HURT SO GOOD is Rosie’s 8th single, and she is dedicating this song to her cousin Sophia who is expecting her first baby next month. ‘I’m hoping to sing it to her when she first goes into labour. It’s the perfect song to acknowledge that while it’s going to hurt, it’s also going to be SO GOOD! – I’m so excited for Sophia and can’t wait to meet her baby boy. 2023 is going to be such an exciting year on so many levels.”

Rosie is set to take her GCSE’s this summer but is still managing to find time for her music. “My days are busy, and my studying comes first, but singing is my absolute passion and I hope will be my career for a long time to come,” she said.

Rosie is looking forward to the Easter Holidays, where as well as revising, she’ll be travelling to Los Angeles to record some new songs as well as make the video for her next single to be released later this year.

The music video for HURT SO GOOD drops on Friday 3rd February at 4pm GMT on Rosie’s YouTube Channel. Meantime the song can be streamed via the usual channels including Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Deezer, and YouTube along with other popular streaming platforms.
