Starting on Wednesday 25 January, the Federation of Small Businesses will be hosting a monthly breakfast business networking session at the unique Martello Tower in Clacton-on-Sea.

Open to all small business owners, (FSB members and non-members), the networking event runs from 8am to 10am, with the ticket price including tea, coffee, and a continental breakfast.

Essex Development Manager, Ann Scott, said: “Small to medium enterprises account for 99% of the business population. Their owners are our innovators, our economic drivers, and the backbone of our communities”.

She continued: “Right now, they are facing major headwinds and economic challenges – from the dramatic scaling back of energy bill support from the Government to inflation eating away at margins. These events are designed to give like-minded entrepreneurs, self-employed people and small business owners from across Essex the opportunity to network, collaborate, promote their services and support each other”.

The FSB offers members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, support, and a powerful voice heard in government. Established over 40 years ago, the non-profit making organisation is the UK’s largest business support group with several in-person and virtual events across Essex every month.

Owner of the Martello Tower, Paul Nash from ‘Things to do in Essex’ and long-time FSB member said: “Running your own business is rewarding, but it can be challenging. With FSB membership, I have all the tools and advice needed to run and protect my business in one place. They have been instrumental in my business development”.

Member tickets are £8 and non-member tickets are £10. To book onto this event, please visit: https://www.fsb.org.uk/event-calendar/clacton-on-sea-in-person-networking-essex-25thjan23.html
