Introducing the brand new and exclusive addition to the Dreams beds family: The Drift. A bed that offers the ultimate combination of functionality, comfort and style for gamers looking for relaxed escapism.

With over 50% of the population embracing gaming as a form of fun, entertainment, or distraction during the pandemic[1], the need for a comfortable space to unwind, relax and game has never been in such high demand.

As gaming becomes more popular, people want seamless ways to enjoy the experience[2], and so the Drift provides the solution to these needs.

Fabio Perrotta, Director of Buying, says: “We’ve seen a real shift in attitudes towards gaming since the pandemic, as well as a demand in people wanting to enjoy the gaming experience in comfort and style. Dreams understand that beds are so much more than just a place for us to rest our heads, which inspired us to create the first ever gaming bed available up to King size.”

From the novice gamer to the expert in EA Sports FC, Dreams want everyone to be able to enjoy the Drift. Be it competing with a friend for the top spot, or unwinding, after a hard day at work.

The Drift is available in three luxurious finishes, including: black faux leather with blue or green piping, as well as a grey fabric with black piping. All of which feature vibrant LED lights, which frame the perimeter of the bed frame and headboard, to create the ultimate gaming atmosphere.

All styles hold a built-in TV with a lifting mechanism at the foot end, which easily and seamlessly hides away when it’s time to sleep. The Drift also houses storage for games consoles, features nifty headset holders and USB ports on each side, and is even available with matching bedside chests with stands for resting your controller – to ensure the most comfortable gaming experience around.

Available in Small Double, Double and King sizes, with prices starting from £1,799. The Drift comes as standard with a 32″ TV, with an option to upgrade to a bigger screen. Ottoman storage is built in, but customers can upgrade to a Sleepmotion base to game in complete comfort. In selected stores and online from 24th October.
