The Kings Arms garden will reopen this July following a six-figure refurbishment earlier this year.

Located in the heart of Colchester, Kings Arms will be this summer’s hotspot thanks to its garden revamp. The new look includes a bespoke oak-wood covered seating area, complete with traditional style beams and finished with ivy and wisteria blooms, as well as rustic style lighting.

With enough seating for 200 guests, the tranquil new space includes planters, bespoke pallet wall features and beer bottle lighting fixtures, providing the perfect atmosphere for an evening drink with friends or family. Heated and dog-friendly, this new and improved space is sure to be a hit with the locals.

Centh McGee, General Manager of Kings Arms, said: “As we move into the summer months, an outdoor seating area has never been more important, so we wanted to offer a stylish and comfortable spot for our guests to enjoy all year round.

“The Kings Arms has always been a popular Colchester pub and we couldn’t be happier to invite back our regular and new customers alike to celebrate with us and enjoy our new and improved garden.”

Kings Arms on Crouch Street is home to one of Colchester’s best gin selections, as well as a great selection of craft ales on tap and ever-changing cask ales on the hand pulls. It also has an extensive food menu and is well-known for its choice of Sunday dinners!
