Artists Revealed for Punk Art Show UK

Punk Art Show UK has this week announced it will launch this year’s art show at Museum of Youth Culture in central London on Friday 11th March 2022 with live performances from Youth – Killing Joke, J C Caroll – The Members and Luke Morgan – The Highliners, HSS Punk Choir and other special guests.

The Punk Art Show UK, is a free exhibition open on the evening of 11th March, then daily until 20th March – noon to 7pm and two evening talks (6-10pm) over its residency at Museum of Youth Culture. During this month, the museum will be celebrating ‘self-expression’ with additional photographic images from their archive on punk from Gavin Watson, Chris Parker and Debbie Sears.

Now in its seventh year, The Punk Art Show UK, (formally known as Punk Rock N Roll Art Show) has built a reputation for hosting exclusive artwork by musicians from original 1977 bands from the punk genre and beyond, buy art and the opportunity to meet many of the musicians from the scene at its launch party on 11th March 7-11pm.

Special guests at this year’s launch night include an unplugged performance from award winning producer and Killing Joke founding member, Martin ‘Youth’ Glover, with material from his recent debut solo album’ Spinning Wheel’ and exclusive new artwork showcasing his distinctive style. Youth comments on his creative career, “I don’t really see a distinction between the different things: I make art while I listen to music, and I think up music or poetry when I’m looking at art, they all feed into each other”.

Plus live music from J C Caroll – The Members and Luke Morgan – The Highliners, HSS Punk Choir and other special guests with DJ Jeff Munday keeping the crowd rocking with classic vinyl 45’s, the annual art raffle and much more.
