A Kazakh-born beauty queen and fashion model has made waves in the U.S. after becoming the most successful and most photographed Kazakh model in the American fashion industry. Aika Iskakova has won heaps of praise from her native country after helping transform the image of the Eurasian nation through her high profile job as a successful model in New York and cover star of numerous magazines. After being one of the most in demand models of 2021, the glamorous beauty has graced the covers of the acclaimed fashion magazine Ellements as well as Vanity Teen, FHM and British Thoughts magazine.
Besides appearing on numerous magazine covers, she has also walked at NYFW and previously represented her country in two prestigious pageants held internationally in Europe. This month, the beauty queen is set to appear in the Miss Fashion Global pageant in Florida, a uniquely diverse pageant that celebrates body positivity and women of all backgrounds.
Celebrating and empowering women has also been a strong core value of Miss Iskakova and by competing in the pageant she hopes to use her voice to encourage other women to celebrate what makes them distinctive and embrace their differences.

In addition to her admirable women’s empowerment work, Iskakova, who hails from the city of Almaty, Kazakhstan has been working overtime over the past 5 years to help change attitudes and opinions of her home country- opinions which have often been shaped by the countries portrayal in the comedy movie Borat.
While millions of people may have first discovered the name Kazakhstan through the bizarre movie ‘Borat’ which saw comedian Sasha Baron Cohen play the role of an outrageous Kazakh man, the country is far from its portrayal and offers stunning landscapes and a rich culture steeped in unparalleled history, tradition and heritage. Iskakova is ready to change this perception and is seen by millions of Kazakh nationals as an inspirational ambassador and positive role model for their country.
While she has always had this strong determination to promote her country she also hopes to use her platform to help other Eurasian models succeed and achieve their very own American dreams.
In addition to her many talents in fashion, she also holds an impressive masters degree in engineering and there is much more than meets the eye of this talented young woman, who counts fencing as one of her hobbies. She was previously awarded by Top City magazine the ‘Top Model Award’ for her endless dedication to modelling and for inspiring women in the modelling industry.
Growing up as a young girl in the second largest city of Kazakhstan, she dreamed of becoming a model and being able to use both beauty and brains to have a lasting impact on the lives of other women. At just 15 years old, she began her career in fashion and slowly worked her way up to where she is today, one of the most popular models of the moment. She hopes to one day use her years of experience to enter into model and lifestyle coaching and start her own motivational schools to influence and inspire younger generations.
