McDonald’s UK celebrated the launch of its new Christmas advert with a star-studded event attended by celebs including Love Island’s Toby Aromolaran and Chloe Burrows as well as Rylan Clark and Strictly’s Neil Jones.

The showbiz party took place at McDonald’s UK Headquarters with an advanced screening of McDonald’s new Christmas Advert, ‘Imaginary Iggy’ before it officially aired this morning.
The emotional advert celebrates the power of imagination and how you’re never too old to make believe – especially at Christmas time.
Amongst attendees were Love Island runners-up, Toby & Chloe, who put on a loved-up display amidst a cluster of Christmas trees before curling up together on the sofa whilst they tucked into the new Festive Stack and Festive Crispy Chicken.
The reality stars were thrilled to get a first look at the new advert with Chloe stating “It was so emotional! It really reminded me of being a kid at Christmas – everything is so magical at Christmas time” with Toby adding, “It really captured the spirit of Christmas – I actually got a bit teary when watching it”.
The ad features a spine-tingling rendition of ‘Time After Time’ by singing sensation Mabel, with 10p from every download going to FareShare. Underpinning the campaign, McDonald’s is also donating funding to enable FareShare to redistribute five million meals to families most in need this Christmas.

Also in attendance were Jorgie Porter, Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks. Sam commented, “McDonald’s new Christmas advert is amazing, I loved it” whilst Jorgie enjoyed the new menu items, stating “I loved the Festive Stack, felt super Christmassy!”
