SEREL DEBUT SINGLE “DADDY’S GONE” OUT JANUARY 29th

Turkish-born London-based singer-songwriter, Serel bares her soul naked in her debut single. A blend of powerful vocals and unfiltered emotions, ‘Daddy’s Gone’ is raw, unpredictable and irrational.

After the premature loss of her father, at 17 Serel moved to Istanbul in search of belonging and artistic direction: an acting role in a television series brought public interest but it also further stretched her fragilities.

To reconnect with her true creative freedom, Serel left everything behind and moved to London.

During her healing journey, made of self-discovery and introspection, she developed her song writing, finding beauty in extreme darkness: “I want to remind people that strength isn’t measured by a hardened exterior or a feeling of invincibility. Real strength is accepting that whatever happens you will never give up”.

Daddy’s Gone is released January 29th 2021 on independent label Eywa Music Ltd across all download and streaming platforms. It was
recorded in London in late 2020, produced by Adam Rust, written by Serel and Jimmy Kent.
