With the series hanging on a knife’s edge at 2-1, cricket fans all over the country will be setting their alarm clocks to tune into the nail biting conclusion, which will be played in Ahmedabad, India, meaning a 4am start for the truly dedicated cricket supporter.

In a bid to ease fans into the early start, food delivery platform Just Eat has asked some of their Indian restaurant partners to serve up early bird Indian breakfasts for those committed to the early rise.

Just Eat has also enlisted the help of England hero, Monty Panesar, a key player in England’s last triumphant tour of India back in 2012, to help launch the 4am full Indian breakfast service, with the former England star donning his whites once more and swapping a cricket helmet for a bike helmet.

Speaking about his involvement in the campaign, Monty Panesar said; ‘After a year with so little live sport, it has been fantastic to be able to watch such an exciting test series – with the result currently 2-1 to India, cricket fans all over the UK will be up early to watch the finale, and what better way to celebrate than to start the day with a full Indian?”

Matt Bushby UK Marketing Director for Just Eat commented: “With cricket back on terrestrial TV, and with everything still to play for, we wanted to deliver some joy to those loyal early morning risers by providing a tasty Full Indian to mark the occasion.”

You can order a Full Indian Breakfast between 4 am and 7 am from The Coriander and Dhaba @ 49 in London, The Indian Tiffin Room and This Charming Naan in Manchester and Mahfil Restaurant in Birmingham – all a bounce away from the iconic cricket grounds of The Oval, Old Trafford and Edgbaston respectively.

But don’t worry if you sleep in, Just Eat has you covered. Greggs, which is exclusively available for delivery on Just Eat, and McDonald’s begin delivery between 7 and 8 am. Cricket fans can enjoy the rest of the test with Greggs’ delicious Breakfast Rolls, or McDonald’s iconic breakfast menu, Delivered for free in London and for £1.99 nationwide when spending a minimum of £5.
