As carnival-lovers across the UK will be missing the joys and excitement of Notting Hill Carnival this year, Papa John’s has shimmied in to bring a slice of the event to people’s doors with its carnival inspired deliveries and new delicious Reggae Reggae Jerk BBQ wings.

Teaming up with glamourous and festive performers who would usually be parading the streets of Notting Hill this month, the limited delivery service, available on 8th August between 4pm – 8pm, will give residents in the area a chance to enjoy a live carnival performance, whilst tucking into some delicious Jerk-spiced wings. If customers fancy a slice of the action, all they need to do is select the tick box when ordering their Papa John’s treats*.

The all-new Reggae Reggae Jerk BBQ wings pack a punch and are marinated in a Levi Roots secret Jamaican Jerk-spice recipe before being cooked to perfection. Whether customers need their side dish spicing up or fancy getting into the carnival spirit, the new menu addition and unique delivery service will be sure to do just that.

In addition to the tasty new product and spirited service, Papa John’s has also partnered with the hospitality-focussed charity, Hospitality Action, for the month of August, to raise funds for those in the industry that have been affected by the cancellation of carnivals up and down the country from carnival performers to food vendors.

Giles Codd, Marketing Director of Papa John’s UK said: “It’s no doubt that the absence of carnival this year will be sorely missed by carnival-goers and performers this month, so in a bid to keep the spirit of this festive event alive, we wanted to bring some fun with the new delivery service.

“Partnering with Hospitality Action was very important to us. We know that the last few months have been particularly difficult for the Hospitality industry and we’re proud to be partnering with a charity who is doing so much to help wherever and however they can.”

Astrid Wears-Taylor, Fundraising & Events Director at Hospitality Action said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Papa John’s on this initiative throughout August. The funds raised will enable us to continue to provide essential and much needed support to the most vulnerable across our industry, making a real impact on the lives of many.”

The Reggae Reggae Jerk BBQ Wings will be available in stores across the UK from 3rd August to 31st August 2020. To opt in for the carnival-themed delivery service, customers can select the tick box located on the Papa John’s website.
