Its mid-July, the sun is shining and Summer is well under way. Whether you are spending the summer days abroad on a scorching hot beach or enjoying the rays in London after a busy day at the office – everyone deserves the perfect Summer cocktail.

Luckily for you, this Wednesday is National Pina Colada Day and Liquorette is serving up the ideal (vegan-friendly) Pina Colada cocktail to celebrate the occasion on 10th July.

Their signature recipe combines the perfect mixture of Malibu, Havana 3 and pineapple juice with coconut milk to create a premium and creamy cocktail that tastes amazing but doesn’t compromise a non-dairy diet.

Fitzrovia-based Liquorette’s bar manager Robyn Wilkie has created the recipe to add a refreshing twist to her favourite cocktail, keeping the serve non-dairy so it can be enjoyed by vegans and non-vegans alike.

MAKE YOUR OWN

Ingredients:
35ml Malibu
15ml Havana 3
75ml coconut milk
75ml pineapple juice
30ml Coco lopez
15ml lime
pinch salt

Method: Blend with ice, pour into a hurricane glass and add a pineapple chunk and cherry for garnish.
