This is Spoke Live is an interactive pop-up event bringing the world of the This is Spoke podcast to life at Unit 8 / Copeland Park, Peckham on 17 November with special guests actor and musician Raleigh Ritchie (Game of Thrones) and author Emma Dabiri (Don’t Touch My Hair) in conversation with the podcast’s hosts The Slumflower and Suli Breaks.

The event also features live performances by musicians Ghetts and Lava La Rue with DJ sets from Martelo and Antonia Odunlami.

The live show is the first from the team behind This is Spoke, a 12-part podcast series which discusses youth culture through a music and literary lens, told through stories and conversation between some of the UK’s hottest cultural influencers.

Expect idea sharing and debate as hosts The Slumflower and Suli catch-up with Raleigh and Emma in a live recording of the podcast, with guests also being able to visit a number of pop-up shops and take part in interactive workshops with Enlarge Your Memories and Tottenham Textiles.

Penguin Books will also be collaborating with local bookshops to host special pop-up book stalls.

Tickets for the event are priced at £5 (for the podcast and live performances only) or £10 (for the podcast, live performances and workshops), and are available from DICE here – https://dice.fm/event/w8g5r-this-is-spoke-17th-nov-peckham-pop-up-london-tickets.
