intu Lakeside celebrates National Customer Service Week in style

Shopping centre owner intu is celebrating world class customer service with plans for week-long activities across its nationwide portfolio of flagship retail destinations as part of National Customer Service week.

Shoppers visiting intu Lakeside from 1 – 5 October, will be surprised and delighted by the variety of activities taking place, as well as a few surprises along the way. Regular visitors to intu Lakeside will already be familiar with the shopping centres signature customer service initiatives including chatty hour, joy jars, fun academy and random acts of kindness.

In celebration of National Customer Service Week these activities have been ramped up even more, with a few additional activities added including moments of surprise and delight, pop-up games in the Customer Lounge and balloon modelling.

This year’s activities form part of a nationwide approach by the shopping centre landlord to celebrate great customer service. Placing customers at the heart of its business is key to intu’s strategy supported by its customer insight programme,Tell intu, which invites customers to share their feedback and experiences of visiting an intu centre. This insight enables the shopping centre landlord to respond to and predict changes in customer needs.
