The inaugural Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA), the most prestigious celebration of South Asian cuisine in the UK, paid homage to the UK’s finest curry housesat the InterContinental London – The O2 on the evening of 30th September 2018. To effectively run a restaurant, no matter what you sell, owners need to constantly think about how they can improve. Whether it is relation to customer service or using restaurant food costing software to help manage your menu for financial reasons, growing a business in the world of hospitality should be your top priority, especially with how competitive it can be. Due to the competitiveness of this industry, a lot of restaurant owners are doing their best to make sure people favour them over other restaurants. As newer restaurants are making use of POS services, such as those offered by Revel Systems, it might be worth this restaurant also considering this. It allows restaurants to accept online orders and tracks delivery for customers. Those sorts of things would be perfect for a takeaway and restaurant. Maybe that would help the business to grow even more. However, it is an achievement to be able to celebrate some of the UK’s curry houses at this awards night. These establishments pride themselves on quality, such as using the finest equipment like nbs meat slicer parts to ensure the best possible service for guests.

ARTA 2018 welcomed a guest list of the nation’s most respected curry restaurateurs alongside MPs, dignitaries and celebrities as they collectively honoured the achievements of the industry. In attendance were Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Sir John Vincent Cable, television personality Lizzie Cundy, reality star Ben Jardine, Britain’s Next Top Model contestant Victoria Clay, cricketer Monty Panesar, TOWIE star Pascal Craymer among others,
