Oscar Wilde’s AN IDEAL HUSBAND, will be coming to a cinema near you on 5th June at 7.15pm for one night only! The play will be broadcast direct from London’s Vaudeville Theatre and will feature a star-studded cast including real-life father and son duo Edward Fox (The Audience, The Day of the Jackal) and Freddie Fox (The Judas Kiss, Cucumber & Banana).
Directed by Jonathan Church, this entertaining and still topical play brings an act of political sin into the heart of the English home. As an ambitious government minister, Sir Robert Chiltern’s smooth ascent to the top seems assured until Mrs Cheveley appears in London with damning proof of his previous financial chicanery.
