It was third time unlucky for chef Simon Rimmer dancing in the Halloween Strictly Special dance off shocker against Mollie King.

In my opinion it was the right time for Simon to leave.

The Strictly Halloween make up, hair and costumes were perfect and so creative as always.

However, chatting to Robin we thought the Halloween week couples routines were flat this week until Alexandra and Gorka danced their Tango to ‘Man eater’. Alexandra always gives every last drop of her passion for dance and it shows. She is consistent and is going above and beyond every week.

Robin shares:
‘I felt some of the music didnt represent some of the Halloween themes very well. Aston was brilliant and saved the show for me. Not really surprised Mollie and AJ in the bottom two to be honest. I did not really like that Cha Cha Cha . I know that Mollie can do alot better. The competition is now really starting to hot up and looking forward to next week’

Recently I was chatting to one of my Peoples Strictly Dance Pals Heather Parsons and she shared her thoughts on this years

Strictly 2017:
‘I’ve always loved this time of year, the nights close in, the walkways are clothed in fallen leaves and Saturday nights sparkle. it’s Strictly time !!!

Of course I’ve even more to love these days as it’s also the anniversary of the start of our People’s Strictly journey. My surprise took place in a supermarket in mid November and then on a Saturday in December the six of us met for the first time when we went to Elstree to see Strictly being televised.

Then, just before Christmas, I got to meet my wonderful professional partner.

I still can’t believe that it happened to me, that I got to meet such amazing people and that we have stayed so close. Not only that I got to ditch my tom boy garb and spin around the Strictly dancefloor in a sparkly ballgown with the gorgeous Ian Waite.

My beautiful ballgown has been such an asset for my charity work I’ve compered world record attempts and fashion shows in it, danced at charity balls and delighted crowds wearing it at presentations and conferences. My charity work has gone from strength to strength and we are just relaunching as “Intensive” and hope to help many more people affected by critical illness.

I am really loving this series as there have already been so many wonderful highlights. I was so sad that Joanne and Natalie wouldn’t be taking part but all the new girls have done an amazing job. It’s always great to have such a range of ability in the celebs and I really feel for some of them – it’s such hard work mentally, physically and emotionally! Debbie and Giovanni gained a special place in my heart when, just like Ian and I, they did a Viennese Waltz to ‘She’s always a woman’

I do love some of the behind the scenes footage too as it’s great to see familiar faces like Matt Flint, choreography and Greg, a floor manager, who makes sure everything runs smoothly as they were so great with us when we did the show.

We are both looking forward to this Saturdays Strictly where its week seven already and the theme is Songs and Dances!!

We were both remembering our Group Peoples Strictly Number.

What alot of fun!
