Essex Chambers of Commerce events hailed a success

Essex Chambers of Commerce have had some very popular events in the last few weeks around Essex.

The first was our very successful Thoroughly Thurrock Networking Event held at the Park Inn by Radisson, Thurrock where David Gibb, Cyber Protect Officer, Cyber Crime Unit, Essex & Kent Serious Crime Directorate gave a very interesting insight in Cyber Crime identifying common types of cybercrime and ways businesses can protect themselves from them.

Next was a South Essex Twilight Networking Event held at the Holiday Inn at Southend Airport where attendees listened to presentations on the Airport Business Park Development, which is one of the most important developments for business to have happened in this area for many years.

Henry Boot Developments Limited have been granted Planning Consent by Rochford District Council for the Airport Business Park and on 17 March 2016, Outline Planning Consent was received for the 78,000 sq. m development, which includes an innovation centre, hotel and space for local engineering and aviation businesses, together with hi-specification office space.

There were lots of questions from the various businesses in attendance and some great networking afterwards.
