Well, that was an unexpected early exit of Chizzy Akudolu personally I think she was hard done by. I was so looking forward to how she was going to progress.

She has an infectious smile and character. Hopefully she can keep dancing as she suggested at Pasha’s house!

I was so happy to see my Peoples Strictly rehearsal partner Neil Jones and his lovely wife Katya they were amazing dancing to Emilie Sande’s new song.

Hopefully next year Neil will finally be given a celebrity partner.

One of my favourite routines was the salsa with Aston and Jeanette. The dance brought back memories and showed elements of salsa moves from Jeanette’s and Jake Wood’s (snake hips) Salsa a few years ago.

For week two the routine had so many lifts that Janette’s feet barely touched the ground. Aston was flinging her around all over the place.They make such a great couple. I would have given them a 10!!

Another of my favourites were Alexandra and Gorka and Debbie and Giovanni again fabulous routines for week two. Lets hope their standard is consistent throughout the series.

I was pleased to hear that Ruth and Anton were dancing to my and Robin’s Charleston music. I sent Ruth and Anton a tweet wishing them both ‘Good Luck’ she responded:
Well we will try to do you both proud. You could have made it a bit slower though!! x”

I thought Ruth looked great in her costume and wig and she gave it her all. It is a fast routine and

Ruth battled through a painful hamstring injury to perform.

Speaking about Robin Windsor we had our weekly catch up and he shared ;

‘Well what can I say the word of the week is ‘nerves’.

Nerves got the better of most of the contestants this week especially Charlotte Hawkins who probably had the dance disaster of the night. However,

I felt so sorry for Charlotte and once you go wrong once its so difficult to get it back. The ‘Cha cha cha’ was not her dance and she is probably glad it is all over and can look forward to something fabulous for next week.

My favourite of the night without a doubt was Alexandra and the fabulous Gorka the Korka! Well, what a ‘Paso Doble’ that was and a standing ovation from the judges and quite rightly deserved too. At week two has she peaked too early?

Its ‘Movie Week’ next week and the fact we get to see Susan as Wonder Woman I am wishing my week away just for that!’

Ciao for now from Robin and I and we will catch up with you all next week.
