The Only Show You Should Be Watching in 2017

The Walking Dead has never ceased to surprise with its most jaw dropping, heart wrenching episode ever. With two beloved characters slain, and an infamous villain making his gory debut, season 7 of The Walking Dead is purely legendary.

If you haven’t already invested your time in The Walking Dead, then you my friends, are missing out. Fans waited six months to find out who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) slayed in the season 6 cliffhanger finale. We were traumatized watching Lucille (Negan’s Louisville slugger wrapped in barbed wire) in action. Two beloved main characters, Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) fell victim to Lucille. So far, season 7 holds endless possibilities.

If you don’t already watch The Walking Dead, here’s why you should:

1. Zombies
If you’ve been keeping TWD off your Netflix list because you’re scared of zombies, stop. There comes a time in every fan’s life when they realize that the people still living in the apocalypse are more horrifying than walkers. By the tenth episode you’ve binged, you’ll no longer be afraid of zombies, and you’ll see what really makes the fans tune in every week.

2. Jeffrey Dean Morgan
“This is the first time I’ve done something where I know people are just gonna despise me,” Jeffrey we don’t despise you! But yeah… everyone really hates Negan. It’s great when a hunk like Jeffrey Dean Morgan gets to play the antagonist. With such a lovable face, you have to keep watching. It’s like watching Anthony Hopkins portray Hannibal Lector, you know it will be done right. Why hate Negan when you can love to hate him?

3. The Tiger
Zombies and tigers and Lucille? Oh my…. Khary Payton of Teen Titans and General Hospital has been signed to play Ezekiel, the leader of a community of survivors in this post-apocalyptic world. There’s little confirmed information about Ezekiel other than his loyal companion Shiva, his pet tiger. Personally, I would love to see a zombie-tiger-Negan battle.

So here it goes, 2017 is filled with a whole new world of Zombie & Tiger possibilities.
