Freya Beer announces new single ‘Off the Tracks’

Freya Beer returns with ‘Off the Tracks’, a darkly seductive love song about a relationship hurtling towards its inevitable crash, released Friday 2nd October 2026.

Blending cinematic romance with danger and desire, ‘Off the Tracks’ sees Freya Beer channel the rebellious spirit of James Dean, the glamour of Golden Age Hollywood, and the intoxicating, surreal world of The Love Witch. At its heart, the track is a love story with a warning sign — the thrill of falling for someone so completely that the relationship begins to feel like a beautiful car crash.

There is something deliberately timeless about ‘Off the Tracks’. Freya’s dark-siren aesthetic meets old-school Hollywood romance, creating a world of midnight glamour, reckless attraction and doomed desire. The song captures that moment when love stops feeling safe and starts feeling exhilarating — when you know you’re heading towards disaster, but don’t want to put the brakes on.

Produced by Tom Donovan and recorded in Colchester, the track brings Freya’s cinematic songwriting into a darker and more seductive space, balancing romance with an underlying sense of chaos.

The artwork, photographed by Alt Content — Mandy Morello, continues the visual world of the single, drawing on the imagery of rebellious Hollywood icons, femme-fatale glamour and the fantasy of a love affair destined to go spectacularly off course.

‘Off the Tracks’ follows Freya Beer’s growing body of work as a poet, model and singer-songwriter, known for creating a distinctive world where music, fashion and cinematic imagery collide.
