Blending cinematic romance with danger and desire, ‘Off the Tracks’ sees Freya Beer channel the rebellious spirit of James Dean, the glamour of Golden Age Hollywood, and the intoxicating, surreal world of The Love Witch. At its heart, the track is a love story with a warning sign — the thrill of falling for someone so completely that the relationship begins to feel like a beautiful car crash.
There is something deliberately timeless about ‘Off the Tracks’. Freya’s dark-siren aesthetic meets old-school Hollywood romance, creating a world of midnight glamour, reckless attraction and doomed desire.
